The Wellensteyn history is one that goes back all the way to Germany, circa 1960s, but can be seen throughout the United States and North America today.
It was then, over sixty years ago, that Adolf Wuttke was a producer of mechanical instruments that were used to plunge into the depths of the North Sea. He saw the need for proper work wear that would not only stand up to the elements, but also be stylish. Because he didn’t want to create just any outerwear; he wanted to produce the best outerwear for men.
